Thank You Cloverdale For Voting Us As Part Of 2020’s Best Of The Best!

We are honoured to be part of this community award. As we reflect on the year 2020, we thank our clients for working with us to stay safe as we navigated this unpredictable year together. We are sharing a few commonly questions about how our team adapted this Spring in light of COVID-19 and Real Estate:

1. What preliminary and current protocols do we in place in light of COVID-19?

When we receive a call from a possible Seller or Buyer we take down more information over the phone at this time and will ask questions regarding their comfort level With Covid-19 as we know Everyone’s Is different so the more info we can obtain over the phone can allow for us to have a quicker meeting with you.
Most times Tony OR Clint will do your evaluation at this time (instead of both of them) to have less exposure at our meeting and we are comfortable wearing masks and keeping physically distant to ensure everyone’s feeling safe while understanding your plans to sell.

2. How have we adapted to changes?

We have different programs thankfully that allow us to work remotely and are easy for clients to use so it is not always necessary to meet in person but yet we are still able to deliver effective results. It’s great to have options when we’re dealing with different times.

3. How has 2020 been the most different compared to other years in regards to Real Estate needs?

Our spring market is typically a very active/hot market but due to Covid and many things shutting down or going on hold we had many clients hold off for a couple more months and so our summer/ fall has replaced the spring madness and we’ve had one of the strongest years in real estate!
This was the first year we have done a variety of evaluations from outside someone’s home (viewing through windows) & meeting in driveways to discuss a clients’ home safely outside or over the phone consults.
We had to adapt quickly to various needs & be sensitive with approach because Covid-19 hit but there were/ are many people who sold their homes before covid who needed a place to move to or already had plans set in place to move – relocate for work etc. so we have followed various safely measures in masking up for showings & carrying around many bottles of sanitizer so we can act safely while viewing homes.
We also Supply some Safety items as gentle reminders to Buyers & Agents who are showing our listing to use new precautions that incl. wearing masks at all times during their showing, sanitizing with provided sanitizer & answering our covid related questions while viewing your home to keep everyone as safe as possible.
We personally are not hosting open houses at this time as a safety precaution because an open house can easily go past the 50 person limit in a home at one time! We feel setting up individual showings allows us to keep down multiple group viewings at one time and helps the buyer and seller to feel more comfortable.

4. What advice do we give to homeowners looking to buy or sell in the next year?

There are many buyers still looking for the right home and there’s a lack of inventory at this time. We have seen multiple offers start up for some properties again making it a great time for sellers.
If you’re thinking of selling soon or in the next 12 months, pls. Give us a call. We would be happy to go over a strategy & some suggestions that can work for you plus we will go over our plans to safely put your home on the market so it’s ready when you are.
